Spray Painted Box Fan

Along with my awesome [in my opinion] new lawn chairs, I also ended up spray painting my daughters plain old white box fan.  I don't have a before picture, but I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.
Madelyne requested that I paint her fan pink.  I decided to paint it purple and pink, mainly because so much of her room is already pink.  For this I used Rust-oleum Painter's Touch 2X paint and primer in Aubergine (satin finish) and Candy Pink (gloss finish).  I absolutely love how it came out and so does she!

Although I probably should have, I didn't rough sand any of this fan.  There was a spot on one of the blades that started to peel off, but it was an easy fix and now it is fine.  You can't really tell in this picture, but the handle and the knob of this fan are also painted pink, like the blades.  This summer I have to do the same for Patrick's fan.   All in all this was a fun little project that anyone can do.  It only took one day!  Hope your fan comes out awesome too!
